I’m so very pleased to introduce you to my new colleague, Tracy Liden. She’s joined Kahan Law to work as a paralegal. She will mostly prepare the behind-the-scenes court documents required of probate cases. Tracy will also occasionally work directly with clients to assist with transferring assets from the deceased to the estate, and then from the estate to the heirs and legatees.
Tracy, a native Southern Californian, earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley and her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. After she completed her formal education, she worked as an attorney establishing and expanding an immigration practice for a Dallas, Texas law firm. There, Tracy assisted businesses with obtaining the proper paperwork and approvals for their foreign national employees to work in the United States.
Tracy then took many years off from the practice of law to raise her family. She raised three children with the youngest now a teenager in high school. During her time away she volunteered in the classrooms and her community, worked as an admissions counselor for a law school, and even arranged flowers at a downtown hotel.
If you have the opportunity to work with Tracy, I think you will like her as much as I do: both for her competence and her customer-first philosophy
We are excited to have her on our team.
